Greetings and blessings to all of you. Today, I am excited to announce that DCA will be hosting its fourth annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk! Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero apparel as they run/walk. The Superhero 5K will take place on Saturday, April 25th at La Salette Park in Attleboro, MA. Registration begins at 7:30 am, and the race begins at 9:00 am.
Proceeds for the Superhero 5K Run/Walk will benefit the DCA Legacy Scholarship Fund, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. So we need as many individuals as possible to be superheroes for children’s health and education.
DCA students and parents are encouraged to participate in this fun event. This event is open to the public and features an award ceremony.
DCA is also seeking financial sponsors from individuals and area businesses. If you know of an individual or a business that might be interested in sponsoring the 5K, please contact the school office. I hope you will be a part of a great 5K event and help DCA raise funds for student scholarship and the children helped every day by St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Our tried and tested route is easy enough for the beginer to walk and challenging enough for our competitive runners to compete for medals. You can walk or run; you can vary your pace for exercise or compete for running medals in variouse age brackets. Get your family to come out and cheer you on, or, better yet, do it with you. Strollers and all ages are welcome. Dress in your favorite superhero costume or make you own. T-shirts provided for pre-registered participants. Raise awareness and raise funds as you ask for family members and local businesses to sponsor you!

A very special thank you to Bruce Stanford who coordinated the 5K from beginning to end. Bruce poured so much into the event, and it would not have been a success without God blessings through him.
