THANK-YOU 2019 LETTER:
Greetings and blessings to you all.
On behalf of Dayspring Christian Academy (DCA) and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, please accept an enormous thank you for your efforts to make this year’s Superhero 5K Run/Walk a success!
For those who ran/walked, volunteered, supported, and prayed for the 5K, you truly have made a difference in the lives of children by supporting the DCA Legacy Scholarship Fund and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. A very special thank you to Bruce Stanford who coordinated the 5K from beginning to end. Bruce poured so much into the event, and it would not have been a success without God blessings through him. Thanks Bruce!
While there are still donations coming in to support the 5K, here are the numbers thus far.
1. 140 runners/walkers participated in the 5K. Over 80 of the participants were from outside of the DCA family.
2. With donations still coming in, a positive net gain will go to charity. The numbers are comparable to last year’s 5K.
3. God blessed the event by holding back the rain during the 5K while other surrounding areas experienced poor weather conditions. We also competed with two other local races that were added to the schedule at the last minute. So all in all, God blessed this year’s 5K!
4. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
In addition to the runners and walkers participating, the 5K was supported greatly by the event sponsors.
Please join me in saying thank you to these sponsors by supporting them with your patronage.

WELCOME TO OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER:
DCA Family & Friends,
Greetings and blessings to all of you. Today, I am excited to announce that DCA will be hosting its third annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk! Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero apparel as they run/walk. The Superhero 5K will take place on Saturday, April 27th at La Salette Park in Attleboro, MA. Walk-up registration begins at 7:30 am, and the race begins at 9:00 am.
Proceeds for the Superhero 5K Run/Walk will benefit the DCA Legacy Scholarship Fund, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. So we need as many individuals as possible to be superheroes for children’s health and education.
DCA students and parents are encouraged to participate in this fun event. Sponsorship forms will be going home for students to solicit sponsors for their run/walk. Individual student and class prizes will be available for those who raise the most in sponsorship.
DCA is also seeking financial sponsor from individuals and area businesses. If you know of an individual or a business that might be interested in sponsoring the 5K, please contact the school office by April 5th. I hope you will be a part of a great 5K event and help DCA raise funds for student scholarship and the children helped every day by St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
