WELCOME TO OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER:
Dear Parents, Participants & Sponsors,
Greetings to you.
This event is back this year! You can either run in person or do our virtual challenge! Our in person event will start on April 30th at 9am.
The virtual run/walk starts also on April 30 and can continue until May 1st, times can be submitted until May 1st. Thank you for your continued support for our cause.
Raising money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund and the St Jude's Children Research Hospital.
From the starting line, there is a gradual decline to the cul-de-sac area. In the cul-de-sac, there is a sharper decline, but not too bad. Around the Saint Joseph Garden area, there is a short steep hill. Otherwise, the general running area is fairly flat. Some of the route is on the street, some in the woods, some in the parking area, and some of the route is in a garden area.
All in all, it is a lovely course with just a few challenges. We've had good feedback from previous runners, both casual runners, and serious runners. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else you need. In the event the "in person" event can not take place because of COVID, you will automatically be put into the "virtual event", no refunds as this is a charity fundraiser.
Event details and schedule
T Shirts to all pre registered entrants.
In Person Race time 9am.
Virtual can start any time day of the event, April 30. Times can be posted that day.
Our tried and tested route is easy enough for the beginer to walk and challenging enough for our competitive runners to compete for medals. You can walk or run; you can vary your pace for exercise or compete for running medals in variouse age brackets. Get your family to come out and cheer you on, or, better yet, do it with you. Strollers and all ages are welcome. Dress in your favorite superhero costume or make you own. T-shirts provided for pre-registered participants. Raise awareness and raise funds as you ask for family members and local businesses to sponsor you!
Race map is available in the downloads; practice is allowed but not required.
Thank you in advance for HELPING US!
Thank You To our Previous Sponsors and Participants!

Greetings and blessings to you all.
On behalf of Dayspring Christian Academy (DCA) and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, please accept an enormous thank you for your efforts to make this year’s Superhero 5K Run/Walk a success!
For those who ran/walked, volunteered, supported, and prayed for the 5K, you truly have made a difference in the lives of children by supporting the DCA Legacy Scholarship Fund and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. A very special thank you to Bruce Stanford who coordinated the 5K from beginning to end. Bruce poured so much into the event, and it would not have been a success without God blessings through him. Thanks Bruce!
